Impact the World

Each of our studies impact the future of medicine and bring us closer to a breakthrough discovery. Are you interested in joining a study?

Three Reasons to Get Involved

1

TRY ADVANCED MEDICINE

Do you have a health condition or illness? If standard treatments haven’t worked, one of our upcoming studies might help. During clinical research, you’ll either be given a placebo or a new medication that’s being tested.

**Your chances of receiving a placebo will vary depending on the study.

2

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

With help from someone like you, we can research medicine that could help thousands, or even millions, of people. Do you want to make a positive, lasting difference? Your time and generosity could help your kids, grandkids, or a mother of three across the world.

3

GET FINANCIAL COMPENSATION

We’re so thankful for your help and participation. If you qualify for a study, you may be compensated for your time and travel.

**Compensation varies depending on the trial.

How Clinical Research Works

Clinical research can take years and the process is heavily regulated by the FDA. Despite the challenges, our experienced team and modern facilities lead the industry by providing accurate results in a timely manner.

How it happens
1

Laboratory Research

BEFORE IT REACHES US

Clinical research studies can vary in size from a single center in one country to multi-center studies in multiple countries.

Before an investigational drug, device, or procedure can be tested in people, it goes through years of extensive laboratory research. If this is successful, researchers send the data to the FDA for approval.

2

Working With Sponsors

WHERE WE COME IN

Once the drug, device, or procedure is approved, human testing begins. This is where we come into the picture. Sponsors who have made it to this stage contact us about testing their investigational drug.

To ensure trial success, we communicate clearly upfront. Our management team quickly evaluates whether Bioclinica Research is the right fit for the project. We make sure we have the required resources for the study and can meet the sponsor’s enrollment timeline.

3

Research Begins

HELP FROM PATIENTS

After verifying that we can complete the trial successfully, we recruit participants. Each study has different requirements, so not everyone qualifies. It’s important to test experimental medicine in people with the respective condition, but it’s also necessary to conduct research in people of different ages, races, ethnic groups, and gender.

As an investigational drug shows positive signs, more participants are needed for the study and research continues to the next phase.

Four Study Phases

RESEARCH PROGRESSES

There are four phases, and each phase is considered a separate study. At the end of each phase, investigators must submit their data to the FDA for approval before continuing to the next phase. After phase three, companies can request FDA approval to market their medicine.
